Colloquial instead of TARMED

The Swiss healthcare sector communicates in its own languages. One of these languages is called TARMED, a tariff system used in Switzerland to process outpatient medical services in medical practices and hospitals. Understanding these terms on your own physician’s invoices is anything but simple for a layman, and in most cases impossible.

Evita users can now have the individual TARMED items on the invoices translated into colloquial descriptions in their Evita health record. Currently, this service is restricted to invoices processed by physicians through the curabill administration system. However, an expansion of the service is planned.
